What is the
value of
continuous
pure water
versus some
extracted
Uranium?
Certainly,
the answer to
this question
depends on
who you ask.
For the
residents of
Park County
and
surrounding
jurisdictions,
there is no
doubt that
our most
precious
commodity is
water.
As you may
know, there
is a proposal
to do
In-Situ
uranium
mining in
South Park
within
residential
areas in the
vicinity of
Hartsel.
Hartsel may
seem to be
too far away
to be
concerned
about, but
that is
certainly not
the case.
This small
community of
residents
desperately
needs your
help and
support to
insure that
the water and
environment
is protected
for not only
their
generation,
but for
generations
to come.
For
information
on the
activities on
their
coalition and

mining and
potential
risks, visit

If you agree
that the
water and
environment
of South Park
and
surrounding
jurisdictions
needs
protecting,
be sure to
sign their
electronic
petition.

proposal in
