On April 25, board of trustee members and volunteers of South Park City, the restored 1880s mining town attraction in Fairplay, moved the rock collection and its case out of Colorado East Bank & Trust. This photo shows a last look at the rock collection at Colorado East Bank & Trust on April 20. The collection was moved on April 25 to make room for construction of a new entrance to the bank on the north side of the building. The new entrance is necessary because a Family Dollar store is planned for the south side of the bank, which will block the current entryway. The rocks were donated to South Park City and will be on display there. (Photo by Laura Van Dusen/The Flume)
