In sincere appreciation for her continued contributions to the Bailey and the Platte Canyon Area, the Chamber took pride in honoring LINDA RAE HENLEY with the GRACIE Award during the Chamber Holday Mixer at The Shawnee Tea Room on December 2nd, 2010. Linda’s involvement and support of Friends of the Library, Park County Cultural Council, River Canyon Gallery, Chances Scholarship, Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce, Destination Bailey, and Bailey Day Booth Goddess is invaluable to our community. Linda was honored that evening with a glowing introduction by Tom Locke the editor of The Flume and Gracie Trast , for whom the award is named, was in attendance to present Linda with her certificate. Commissioner Dick Hodges and his wife Carol were present and Dick had the honor of presenting Linda with a resolution passed by the Park County Commissioners declaring Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 to be LINDA HENLEY DAY in Park County. Congratulations Linda on receiving a well deserved honor and thank you again for all that you do to make our community a better place to live and do business.
